Here at GofidoGoodFido, we provide a unique set of services. We teach basic functional manners to your dog and address specific behavioral issues in the convenience of your home (Doggie etiquette). We dog-proof your home  by checking for environmental hazards, set up your dog’s living area by making suggestions regarding the appropriate crate, toys, bowls, collars and leashes, and we find organizational solutions for all his paraphernalia (Doggie environments). We will work closely with your veterinarian to design the best fitness program for your dog’s particular needs so that you can enjoy his companionship for many healthy years to come (Doggie exercise)!

 

The perfect dog doesn’t jump, bark, chew, or use the living room as a potty area. But the perfect dog is a stuffed animal! Unfortunately all those unacceptable behaviors are normal canine behaviors that need to be redirected to appropriate channels. This one-hour consultation service is designed to assess your dog’s behavior and make suggestions for the best course of action for your dog’s particular issue. The fee includes a pre-visit phone consultation, in home behavior assessment, and a follow up phone conversation.

 

1 Hour $65.00

 

Many owners are stretched for time and cannot bring their dog to group classes. The home-school program was designed to address your dog’s issues, in his own environment, where the bad behavior is occurring, while offering a flexible schedule that is convenient for you. The fees include a pre-visit phone consultation; home-school classes with weekly exercises to practice and 5, 30 minute follow up phone conversations with every package.

 

1 Hour Session $65.00/Package of 5 Hour Sessions $300.00

 

Owners frequently underestimate their dog’s need to be physically active; an over-weight dog can suffer devastating physical ailments that can shorten his life, while a high-energy dog kept in confinement can exhibit unwanted behavior if not properly channeled. After an okay from your dog’s veterinarian, we will implement a program of jogging/walking, and playing, that is customized for your dog’s particular needs. This will be based on his age, weight, current health conditions and behavior. The fees include an assessment, program design, and daily report.

 

½ Hour (pkg. 5), $125.00 1 Hour (pkg.5) $250.00

 

Doggie Walks: (Currently serving the Andersonville, Edgewater area)

If you are working long hours and cannot get home during the lunch hour, it’s quite possible that your beloved canine needs to get out to relieve himself. We do doggie walks so your furry friend can “read” and answer his daily p-mail. We will even do walks with two or three compatible doggies for stress relief and companionship. The fees include walk, towel dry (when necessary) and a cookie!

½ Hour $15.00 (pkg.5 $65.00), ½ Hour (2 dogs, same house), $17.00 (pkg. 5 $75.00)

 

Whether this is your first dog or fifth, we will come to your home to make sure your home is safe for your four-legged friend, organized so you can find all his essential items, and sound so he has the appropriate crate, toys, dog bowls, leashes/collars and bedding. The fee includes a pre-visit phone consultation, in home assessment, a follow up phone conversation and a report.
